Greetings Hawk Family,
I hope that your summer has been safe and full of fun times! It is a privilege to be alive during this pandemic writing this message to you, and for that I am truly grateful. It is year six of my principalship, and I am continuing to learn and grow. My top three core values as an administrator are communication, integrity, and empathy, and it is these that help to drive my decision making. I look forward to one day meeting all of our Hawk parents and guardians because we are all in this together! Thank you for hanging in there and choosing to win each and every day. All that we can do is our very best.
Also, thank you for trusting us to educate your students at Hamady Middle High School! We have highly qualified teachers instructing our students every day of the week in the classroom. Our support staff is all hands-on deck and we want to see each student become successful. We encourage you to stay connected to your student’s progress by checking their grades/attendance through ParentVue and also following up with their teacher if you have any questions or concerns. My doors are always open, and I am one phone call away so please do not hesitate to reach out. Although things are not “normal” due to the pandemic, we are working through them and trying to provide a balance for our students between work and play. So please, check out our extracurricular activities and sports schedule and come support the teams. Go Hawks!
Continue to listen to your students and show up for them whenever they need you. Your role is the most important one in their lives! Stay safe and keep on being the awesome parents/guardians that you are! I truly appreciate you.
Sincerely,
Ms. Dionna Ross, Ed.S.
Principal, Hamady Middle High School
